Sting Arrives In Japan Ahead Of The Great Muta’s Final Match
WWE Hall of Famer Sting has arrived in Japan for The Great Muta’s final match. Sting will be teaming with Darby Allin and The Great Muta to take on Hakushi, AKIRA, and Naomichi Marufuji at the January 22nd Pro Wrestling NOAH show.
On Friday, Pro Wrestling NOAH announced Stings’ arrival to Japan on Twitter. The Japanese company tweeted out to promote The Stinger’s arrival.
Sting and Keiji Muto share a great deal of respect for one another. Sting previously said that he loved working with Muta in the United States, and the truth is that the Japanese icon had always requested Sting to retire the gimmick with him.
Tony Khan is allowing this match, when he didn’t have to, but it will make pro wrestling history. Triple H also added a special touch to the Great Muta’s retirement tour, as The Game allowed Shinsuke Nakamura to wrestle Muta in his final singles match.
