Becky Lynch Was Originally Scheduled To Win Steel Cage Match On RAW
Last night on Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch and Bayley’s cage match did not get going as Damage CTRL picked apart Becky inside the cage.
Following the segment, it was reported that the steel cage match was cut short to accommodate the other matches and segments, as the opening segment featuring The Bloodline ran a bit long.
Now, PW Insider has also confirmed those reports. They are also reporting that Becky Lynch was supposed to win the steel cage match against Bayley if the match had happened.
“The steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Bayley did not go as envisioned on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The original plan was for Becky to win and then be beaten down by Damage CTRL,”

WWE’s decision to cut one of its biggest matches on the card short was questionable, to say the least. We will have to wait and see if WWE will hold another stipulation match between these two women.
