CM Punk is one of the most successful professional wrestlers since the year 2000. With many world title reigns spanning several companies – he has been a legitimate draw in both WWE and AEW.
While speaking on the latest episode of “Oh…You Didn’t Know,” Road Dogg stated that he believes CM Punk is more of a sports entertainer than pro wrestler.
“I think Punk’s a great example of a guy that if you just went with wrestler, wrestler, wrestler, wouldn’t have made it without the attitude, mic skills and I don’t want to say character because Punk was never really a character, he was just himself, but he’s good at it,” James said. “He made people tune in and get behind it. AEW is carrying on without Punk, even nixing him from the cover of their upcoming Fight Forever video game. We will have to wait and see what will become of CM Punk in the end.
