The 36th edition of the WWE Royal Rumble took place at the Alamodome in San Antonio last night. The event featured a total of five matches, with the Women’s Royal Rumble match preceding the main event.
Nia Jax made a shocking return as a surprise participant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. She stunned the Alamodome crowd by entering the competition as the 30th entrant, highlighting her status as a former WWE RAW Women’s Champion. Jax was eventually eliminated by several women, as fans were glad she was removed from the equation. Nia Jax took to her Instagram and uploaded several backstage photos of herself at the Royal Rumble as she sent a message to those who eliminated her.
It remains to be seen if she will rejoin WWE full-time in the future.
