Following the Royal Rumble, photos started circulating on social media that showed Ricky Starks arriving at the arena with Cody Rhodes. While rumors started circulating that Starks might be looking to jump ship, it now seems like that may not be the case.
PWInsider has confirmed that Ricky Starks and Cody Rhodes are extremely close friends and Starks has accompanied Rhodes to previous WWE events.
“There was some Internet surprise to AEW’s Ricky Starks being in attendance at the Royal Rumble with Cody Rhodes as a photo popped up online. The two are extremely close. Starks and QT Marshall were actually with Rhodes at Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas when Rhodes made his WWE return as well,”

Cody Rhodes isn’t the only one enjoying a good run at the moment. Ricky Starks has been on a pretty good win streak and even defeated Chris Jericho recently. It looks like AEW has some big plans for him.
