Cody Rhodes had some support backstage at the Royal Rumble.
A photo has been doing the rounds online that shows Ricky Starks arriving with Cody Rhodes at the arena just prior to the Royal Rumble. Starks and Rhodes are pretty good friends so it shouldn’t be a surprise to see him with Cody Rhodes.
It looks like Starks has a big role to play in AEW and it doesn’t seem plausible that he could leave all that and move to WWE. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if WWE offer him a contract given his skills.
