The tragic news of Jay Briscoe’s passing sent shockwaves throughout the wrestling community and the tributes started pouring in. WWE even paid tribute to Jay during an episode of NXT.
Tony Khan did the same on a recent episode of Dynamite when he allowed Jay’s brother Mark Briscoe to face Jay Lethal in the main event. The match was watched by the whole roster who came out to pay tribute to Jay Briscoe once the match was over.
The Elite recently released the emotional backstage footage from the tribute on their Being The Elite series. In the video, several AEW stars can be seen hugging Mark as they give their condolences.
