Seth Rollins Calls Cody Rhodes Selfish, Says He Is Trying To Steal The Spotlight
After returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes immediately began feuding with Seth Rollins. The two would go on to have three excellent matches, with Rhodes beating Rollins every time.
In fact, the two would revisit their rivalry once again during the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Rhodes and Rollins duked it out against each other in the match, before Logan Paul ended up eliminating Seth Rollins.
While speaking to Wrestling Inc., Seth Rollins talked about his rivalry with Cody Rhodes. Rollins then went on to explain why Cody Rhodes is selfish.
”Look, I never had any disrespect towards Cody Rhodes. The only disrespect I had for Cody Rhodes was that he tried to come in and steal my spotlight. I shouldn’t say ‘tried to steal it.’ He tried to use my spotlight to catapult himself to where he wants to go. So there’s nothing more selfish in the world. Don’t let anything fool you. Cody Rhodes is a selfish S.O.B. He’s not coming back for anything but himself.”

Cody Rhodes will be challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39. As for Seth Rollins, he will likely be competing for the United States Title by then. We’ll have to see when Rhodes and Rollins will face each other in a singles match again.
