Keith Lee’s WWE release came as a surprise to fans, but they were even more shocked when he didn’t immediately show up in AEW. That AEW debut eventually came for Keith Lee, and he quickly formed a team with Swerve Strickland that has since disintegrated.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Keith Lee’s absence from AEW television is a part of the story. The former NXT Champion is off AEW television, so he can sell the brutal cinderblock attack from Swerve Strickland.

Keith Lee entered AEW with a lot of hype behind him, and tons of fans pulling for his Limitless potential. It seems that Keith Lee’s spot on the roster was a bit lost in recent memory, but hopefully, things will clear up after a cloudy period following this recent hiatus.
