AEW Isn’t Close To Agreeing A Streaming Rights Deal
It looks like it will be a little while yet before AEW has a streaming rights deal.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW is still not close to closing a streaming deal just yet, so fans shouldn’t expect one anytime soon.
“It’s hard for me to judge that because the two things everybody ran with afterward were both not true. The video game is not coming out this month, obviously, because if it was we would all know. And then the other one is, they’re not close to a streaming deal. Of course, they want one, it’s been talked about forever, for more than a year, but it’s not a deal that’s on the horizon right now.”

It remains to be seen how AEW will implement its streaming services. With streaming being the norm in many places, the company certainly has a lot to live up to.
