NXT Superstar Carmelo Hayes has gained notoriety for straight-up stealing Carmella’s catchphrase and fine-tuning it along the lines of his character. Hayes’ tagline “Melo Is Money” has become quite popular among fans. He also doesn’t miss.
Carmella recently requested the WWE Universe to remind Hayes and his ally Trick William to stop using the “Melo Is Money” catchphrase modeled after her very own “Mella Is Money” slogan.
Carmelo Hayes emerged victorious against Apollo Crews in the two-out-of-three falls match at WWE NXT Vengeance Day. It remains to be seen if WWE picks up on the tweet and carves a storyline out of it on the Road To WrestleMania.
