To this day, many fans still debate whether CM Punk was justified in his departure from WWE and the subsequent remarks he made. Additionally, after his involvement in the AEW All Out melee last year, Punk has become a controversial figure and is widely unpopular among fans.
Seth Rollins also called CM Punk a cancer during Royal Rumble weekend which led to a lot of discussions as well. While speaking on Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy revealed that he ended up laughing out loud when Rollins called Punk a cancer.
“He especially won me over just because of his comments on Punk the other day, I popped huge when I saw that. I was laughing out loud. Very funny stuff.”

Regardless, we’ll have to see what will become of CM Punk in the end.
