Roxanne Perez successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne at NXT’s recent premium event, Vengeance Day.
Perez revealed on her Instagram story that she suffered a finger injury during the match, which was wrapped around a bandage.
Roxanne Perez further made history by ending Mandy Rose’s historic 413-day reign as champion. The 21-year-old star defeated Rose on the December 13th, episode of NXT to win her first NXT Women’s championship. With her first title defense under her belt, fans can surely hope for a lengthy reign by the faster-rising star of the NXT women’s division.
