Last month saw Cardona talk about trademarking his WWE name “Zack Ryder” and his catchphrase, “Woo. Woo. Woo. You Know it,”. However, it appears that Cardona failed to get that trademark.
GCW announced on their Twitter that Cardona would be facing Nick Wayne at GCW Middle of the Night on February 18. Wayne jokingly responded that he’d be facing Zack Ryder.
Cardona then revealed that he failed in getting the trademark for Zack Ryder. Cardona corrected Wayne by saying that he would be facing “The Indy God” and “The Deathmatch King”, Matt Cardona.
It remains to be seen if Cardona will be making a return to WWE.
