Yesterday, Fightful had exclusively learned that NJPW star Mercedes Mone is set to appear at Planet Comicon 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. The convention will held at the Kansas City Convention Center on March 17-19, 2023. Fans can see the full press release below.
Planet Comicon Kansas City, the area’s largest pop culture celebration, welcomes wrestler and actress Mercedes Varnado for a special limited appearance at Planet Comicon 2023. Mercedes is one of the most popular female wrestlers in the world from her trailblazing time in WWE to her current game changing appearances for New Japan Pro Wrestling under the Mercedes Mone name this superstar is out to conquer all of entertainment which she’s already started in Star Wars universe Disney+ series The Mandalorian. In a special limited hours appearance March 17-18, coinciding with one of Kansas City’s biggest wrestling weeks, Mercedes will be at Planet Comicon meeting fans, doing professional photography opportunities, and taking part in a special Mercedes Varnado spotlight panel on Saturday at 11:00 AM all about her past, present, and possible future plans.
Tickets for Planet Comicon Kansas City taking place March 17-19, 2023 at the Kansas City Convention Center are available at Planetcomicon.com. Also scheduled to appear at the event are “Jungleboy” Jack Perry, Kevin Nash, with special events hosted by Leva Bates. all alongside stars from TV, Film, Comics, and Video Games.

Mercedes is set to compete in her first match since leaving WWE on February 18, 2023, when she takes on KAIRI in a IWGP Women’s Championship match at NJPW Battle In The Valley.
