The Iron Claw is a movie about the rise and fall of the legendary Von Erich family, who made a huge impact on the sport of professional wrestling in the 1960s. The title of the movie is based on Von Erich’s finishing hold.
The film is set to star Zac Efron, who will play Kevin Von Erich in the movie. Besides Zac Efron, the film will feature the likes of pro wrestling legend Ric Flair and AEW World Champion MJF.
While speaking to Marc Maron on his WTF podcast, MJF talked about his upcoming role in the ‘Iron Claw’ film. MJF finally revealed that he will be portraying the role of Lance Von Erich.
“I just booked a role and just finished wrapping with a movie called ‘Iron Claw,’” Friedman said. “It’s about the Von Erichs. … [I played] Lance Von Erich, and he may or may not have held up the promoter for money. Who’s to say?”

The film will also mark MJF’s acting debut and fans are certainly quite excited about the upcoming project. We will have to wait and see how the film will turn out.
