Ricky Starks almost ran the gauntlet.
Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Ricky Starks had to run through the Jericho Appreciation Society in order to get a shot at Chris Jericho. First, Ricky made very quick work of Angelo Parker and Matt Menard. He defeated both of them back to back in less than three minutes. Up next, Daniel Garcia was next in and he had a little bit of a harder time with the pitbull like Garcia. Ricky thought he had Garcia a few times, but he continued to stay alive. Finally, Ricky hit a big spear on the outside to Daniel, but was nailed in the face with an elbow from a man in a mask. This led to Garcia rolling Starks into the ring and getting the win. The masked man revealed himself as of course, Chris Jericho.
It looks like Ricky won’t get his chance at Jericho for now.
