The rumor surrounding MJF’s promo was that it was a spontaneous, last-minute addition to the show made to fill the time after the match between Jamie Hayter and The Bunny was cut short due to an injury sustained by The Bunny. Whether planned or impromptu, MJF’s promo once again highlighted his mastery of the mic and his ability to captivate audiences.
According to Fightful Select, that was not the case at all as the promo was always planned, and it was actually listed on internal show formats before the show began.
MJF will defend his AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute iron-man match at Revolution on March 5. We’ll have to see how the match will turn out.
