Some WWE Creative Team Members Believe Vince McMahon’s Method Of Booking Is The Only Way

WWE has a lot of things in the works on the road to WrestleMania. Sami Zayn is about to face Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber, and there is a thought that WWE should switch things up, especially with how over Sami Zayn is now.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained how there are a few WWE writers that still think Vince McMahon’s booking style is the only correct way to book a pro wrestling show, because that’s all they’ve ever known.

“It’s so funny that with Vince, Vince created, I would say, a group of writers who do not understand, because like when Tony Khan would have the local guy win, I know some of the writers were like, ‘Tony doesn’t even know that you always beat the guy in his hometown for heat.’ They were taught that there’s only one way to do it, even though, you know it’s just Vince, and how it does it.”

“There’s more than one way to do this business. There’s probably fifty correct ways, but because people have only watched one company and one guy’s vision, they think all these other ways, that are correct, are not correct, because Vince never did them. That was one of the ones as far as beating someone in their hometown.”

We will have to see how WWE books the future, but Triple H is certainly not doing everything in the same way that his father-in-law did things.
