AEW star Kososuke Takeshita paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero last week on Dynamite as well. The Japanese sensation hit Eddie’s signature frog splash to a huge ovation from a red hot crowd at the County Coliseum in El Paso.
Former WCW star Konnan, however, took issues with Takeshita’s tribute to Eddie Guerrero. Konnan disapproved of the tribute during his podcast. He would also take to Twitter this week and claim the whole thing was a joke.
Konnan and Eddie Guerrero were incredibly close and it’s understandable that the former WCW star wants to protect his friend’s legacy. That said, Latino Heat was over with millions of fans around the world, many of whom followed in his footsteps.
