Major League Wrestling aired the newest episode of MLW Underground on February 14th. Matches were taped at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The show aired on REELZ. Full results (thanks to Fightful) are below.
MLW Underground (2/14)
- Mance Warner cuts a promo about his Street Fight with Real1.
- Jacob Fatu and Juicy Finau are backstage for an interview, but Lance Anoa’i isn’t with them. Fatu is confident Anoa’i ‘ will show up. When asked about his upcoming match with Alex Hammerstone, Fatu says the title belongs to him, and it’s coming home at MLW Superfight.
- Calvin Tankman def. Willie Mack
- A vignette shows Lady Shani, La Hiedra, and Reina Dorada attacked backstage, with the same “AO” calling card that has been seen in recent weeks. The match between the three is seemingly off.
- In a promo, Real1 discusses his match with Mance Warner.
- Backstage, MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone notes that he and Jacob Fatu have both won the Battle Riot and cashed in on each other. He says they’re destined to do this forever, and he’s going to win at SuperFight.
- MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship: Taya Valkyrie (with Cesar Duran) (c) def. Zoey Skye
- In an interview, Billie Starkz says she hopes to make an exciting MLW debut. Taya Valkyrie interrupts and wonders if Starkz’s mom is waiting to pick her up. Duran and Valkyrie say Starkz is a child, and she’s still in diapers.
- Backstage, Alex Kane insults the Billington Bulldogs (Thomas & Mark Billington). Kane calls the Opera Cup the Bomaye Cup of the Gods. Meanwhile, Davey Boy Smith Jr. discusses his return alongside the Billington Bulldogs. He says they are Team Bulldog, and they are the past, present, and future of wrestler. Smith says he’s disgusted by Kane’s actions. He warns Kane to tap before he naps when they clash.
- EJ Nduka attacks Lance Anoa’i in the parking lot and hits him with a cinder block. He tells him to tell Fatu to never get in his way. Later in the show, the broadcast team notes that Anoa’i has been taken to the hospital.
- In an interview, Lio Rush comments on his return and says it’s time to remind people who he is.
- Street Fight: Real1 def. Mance Warner
- Real1 hit Warner with brass knuckles to win the match
