WWE will often hire enhancement talent to come in for a loss. Their job is to make the winner of the match look good, and Lady Frost knows all about that.
While talking on the Ten Count podcast, Lady Frost discussed her WWE enhancement talent match against Asuka. It didn’t last long, but it also didn’t take her nearly as long to make her way to WWE as it did a lot of other talent.
“I had to feel the guilt and shame for years because people are like ‘people tried for 10 and 15 years to be on TV,’ but like I’m sorry I got lucky. I wasn’t going to say, ‘No, you should call this person in, I don’t know, Utah, that’s been working for 15 years that deserves this more than me.’”
“I showed up, I cut a promo on live television for the time ever. They gave me a mic and said, ‘Here you go.’ They aired it live. I didn’t mess it up. I took a head kick like a champ and oh well, suck it.”

WWE has a lot of people in the company as enhancement talent who later go on to make a name for themselves. That makes those enhancement talent matches so much better, especially when the person losing on television goes on to make an even bigger name for themselves on their own.
