Charlotte Flair Doesn’t Know Why Fans Hate On Her Wanting A WrestleMania Main Event Match

Rhea Ripley is on her way to WrestleMania, where she will take on Charlotte Flair once again. This time around Ripley has the Judgment Day behind her, and she is also on an incredible hot streak. Charlotte Flair understands the criticism she receives from fans who believe that she doesn’t deserve another main event spot, and now she is set to prove her spot against The Nightmare.

Charlotte Flair recently addressed those dismissive fans during a recent interview with The Daytona Beach News-Journal. This interview was a part of the NASCAR Daytona 500 coverage. The Queen made it clear that she wants to perform on WWE’s biggest stage, but every performer should want a spot on their company’s top show. That being said, she still has a tough opponent in Rhea Ripley.

“First, let’s start with the main event (aspect). I always find it so odd when people say, ‘Why does Charlotte always want to main-event?’ Isn’t that what you want as a performer? If you’re a football team, you want to be at the Super Bowl, right? I don’t understand the criticism over that.

Why wouldn’t you want to be a champion? With Rhea, we’re not starting from scratch. We have so much history. We have our first faceoff Friday. I’m not planning anything in my head creatively because I want to feel the energy. I want to feel what the audience thinks of how far she’s come, and where I’m at now.

Rhea Ripley has a lot to prove at WrestleMania 39. She has losses to Charlotte Flair under her belt, but now she has another chance to take down The Queen at the showcase of the immortals.
