Rey Mysterio gained fame in the 1990s and 2000s for his high-flying acrobatics and signature moves, such as the 619. Mysterio won multiple championships in various wrestling promotions and is considered one of the greatest high-flyers in wrestling history.
PW Insider noted in one of their mailbag articles that WWE once had a plan to air an animated series based around a young Rey Mysterio. This show, called Hanging in the 619, would have also included other animated versions of WWE Superstars, but it never got off the ground
At one point, there was a pitch for a series titled Hanging in the 619 starring a young version of Rey and other animated versions of WWE characters but it never went past that phase.
