Without a doubt, one of the most prominent WWE talents at the moment is Cody Rhodes. After WrestleMania 38, his popularity only grew and Rhodes has become such a big sensation that WWE thinks they have something spectacular on their hands. That being said, WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page believes WrestleMania 39 will be a night full of emotions for all in regard to Rhodes’s match.
The Undisputed WWE Universal championship showdown between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns on Sunday, April 2, is the culmination of a journey for Cody. Furthermore, it will be a moment the Rhodes family can cherish forever, according to DDP as he told TMZ Sports during a recent interview.
Furthermore, Diamond Dallas Page will be proud of The American Nightmare. The master of the Diamond Cutter has been Cody Rhodes’ coach since he was a young boy and his father, Dusty Rhodes’ close friend as well. DDP claimed he was honored to be one of Dusty Rhodes’s closest friends. He also stated that it will be “very emotional” to see Cody Rhodes enter the squared circle at WrestleMania after the Rhodes family spent years perfecting their craft and talent.
The American Nightmare is ready for the biggest night of his career next month. We will have to wait and see if Cody Rhodes triumphs over Roman Reigns and finishes the story with him as the new Undisputed WWE Universal champion.
