Impact Wrestling’s Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Taya Valkyrie is reportedly leaving the company soon, according to a new report from PWInsider via Wrestling Headlines. The report suggests that there has been heavy interest in Valkyrie from other wrestling promotions, with WWE and AEW being the likely contenders
Taya Valkyrie is currently AAA Reina de Reinas Champion and the inaugural MLW World Women’s Featherweight Champion. She won the AAA title on April 23, 2022, and the MLW title on May 13, 2022. If Valkyrie were to return to WWE, she would likely need to drop these titles, but she could potentially continue her AAA reign if she signed with AEW.
Valkyrie’s next MLW title defense is scheduled against Delmi Exo on April 6 at the MLW War Chamber event, while there is no news yet on her next AAA title defense. Valkyrie has held the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles with Rosemary and Jessicka as The Death Dollz since Bound For Glory on October 7, and their next title defense is yet to be announced.
