Daniel Cormier Says He May Smack Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania
Brock Lesnar was very dominant during his time in UFC as well, winning the UFC Heavyweight Championship in 2008. After holding two titles at the same time in the UFC, Daniel Cormier issued a challenge to Lesnar. However, the fight never happened.
Daniel Cormier’s passion for wrestling is well-known, and he recently demonstrated this by serving as a special guest referee during the Fight Pit match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle at WWE Extreme Rules 2022. Now, Cormier is set to take his love for the sport to the next level, as he will be leading ESPN’s coverage of WrestleMania 39. This exciting announcement is a testament to Cormier’s deep knowledge and enthusiasm for wrestling, and fans can undoubtedly expect his coverage to be both informative and entertaining.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, the UFC Hall Of Famer talked about his upcoming role at WrestleMania 39, making it clear he is grateful for the opportunity given to him.
“I’m getting more opportunities for ESPN, and I’m so thankful for that. So I’ll be at WrestleMania, just in a different capacity, and we’ll see what the future holds down the line.
If Brock steps in my way? I’ll smack him upside his head.”

Daniel Cormier had previously made it clear that he is down to cross paths with Brock Lesnar. Ronda Rousey also believes Daniel Cormier can defeat Brock Lesnar in an MMA fight. We’ll have to see if the two end up crossing paths at WrestleMania 39.
