WWE fans are very hard to predict. You never know what will resonate with them. Apparently, stomping Matt Riddle’s head into some steel steps is exactly what they wanted to see from The Drip God.
Seth Rollins recently spoke to the “After The Bell” podcast, where he revealed how he accidentally turned babyface. This was not on purpose, but something about his amazing suit and the fact that he was doing damage to Matt Riddle, made WWE fans cheer for him.
“[At] the end of the show, Riddle’s out there doing something. And I came out to stomp his head into the steel steps, and I’m wearing this shiny, beautiful black suit. And I end the episode by stomping his head into steel steps, thinking I’m going to hear a chorus of boos when in fact, the choir is singing my song.”

Rollins is set to take on Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39 in a match where he is the babyface. That part of his character hasn’t changed as fans continue cheering for him.
