Vince McMahon came back to WWE RAW this week, but it was said he was just there to visit. John Cena was back this week, and Mr. McMahon apparently wanted to say “hi.” That also brought up a slew of speculation and worry about Mr. McMahon is calling the shots once again.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer relayed the story that WWE is telling, with the narrative that Vince McMahon was only back to visit. It was further stated that the “truth” is actually “in the middle” of those two stories, because Vince McMahon came back for more than just a chance to say “hi.”
I don’t know, I mean, he’s doing more than they’re letting on, but the person in control was Triple H. It’s not like Vince McMahon was there and doing stuff, but it’s not like he was there to see John Cena, say ‘hi’ to a few people and left. That didn’t happen either, so the truth is in the middle most likely, for sure, actually.”

Truth in pro wrestling has a strange way of coming out eventually. We will have to see what happens on the road to WrestleMania, and whether we see Vince McMahon’s name pop up along the way. This week he didn’t even appear on television, but Mr. McMahon was still able to make plenty of waves.
