Wardlow might have to give Powerhouse Hobbs an IOU in lieu of an actual title belt if he’s defeated at AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night.
That’s because the big man’s car was broken into on Tuesday night and the thief took, well, everything.
Wardlow posted a video to Twitter late Tuesday night, surveying the damage of his rental car. The glass was completely broken out of the car, and everything was taken.
“Well, thanks to the person who broke into my rental car and took absolutely everything from me…my TNT title, my gear, my boots, my whole life were in those bags,” Wardlow said in a video he posted to Twitter. “I don’t know if this means I’m gonna have to beat the shit out of Hobbs in these clothes I’m wearing right now, but one way or another I’m gonna make it to Sacramento and we’re gonna get this shit done.”
Wardlow told that whoever broke into his car better thank God that he didn’t catch them in the act.
“Because your jaw would be as shattered as this glass is,” Wardlow said.
Thankfully, the man himself is okay. But it’s unfortunate that after winning the TNT Championship, it was literally stolen from him – not by an opponent, but by a coward under the veil of darkness.
