John Cena’s long-awaited return to WWE RAW was an emotional moment as the live crowd erupted in cheers. He engaged in a fiery promo with Austin Theory which ended with Cena accepting a challenge to face him at WrestleMania 39.
The promo was a one-sided affair, as Cena outclassed Theory with his verbal prowess and left the young wrestler in tatters. Fans were thrilled by Cena’s performance, and the announcement of his match at WrestleMania has already set the stage for a blockbuster showdown.
According to Fightful Select, WWE officials were very happy with John Cena’s return on Monday Night RAW, as it added some familiar eyes to the red brand.
