In the past few months, the TNT Title changed hands a few times, as Darby Allin, Samoa Joe, and Wardlow were all champions.
According to Fightful Select, AEW had planned these title changes months ahead of time.
We can confirm that several of the TNT Title changes of late — Darby Allin, Wardlow and Will Hobbs — were at least tentatively planned months ahead. Darby Allin had actually filmed VTRs with the title before he won

We will have to wait and see how AEW will be booking Powerhouse Hobbs as the TNT Champion in the coming months. Odds are, he might have a long reign as the champion.
