GCW Contesting AEW: Fight Forever Trademark

With no confirmed release date in sight, AEW Fight Forever has been hit with a number of delays since its announcement in November 2020. This has made fans believe the game is truly cursed.

The game has already been officially rated as T for Teen. Due to this, fans wondered whether the game will release soon. Of course, they also wondered when the game would even release.

GCW is opposing the name of the game now. According to Wrestling Inc, GCW filed documents requesting an extension over their opposition to the AEW Fight Forever trademark on March 1, 2023.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office granted that extension. According to documents, GCW’s opposition appeal notes the company is currently “engaged in settlement discussions with the applicant,” which refers to AEW.
