Gigi Dolin and Jayne were a top tag team as part of Toxic Attraction and captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles while their leader Mandy Rose was the NXT Women’s Champion. However, the two have been at odds since Rose’s release from the company.
During an episode of Bayley’s “Ding, Dong, Hello” show, Jayne brutally attacked Dolin and kicked her head through the show’s prop door, turning heel. While Dolin beat Jayne on NXT, it is reported that she will not be positioned as the star in the rivalry.
While speaking about the rivalry between the two, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer noted that it’s very clear that Jayne will be positioned as the star coming out of this program.
“It’s very clear they are positioning Jayne as the star, but they want a longer program with the two and thus started with a Dolin win and Jayne beating her down after the match.”

With Triple H as the Head of Creative in WWE, classic storylines are being re-invented and throwbacks are happening more and more. It remains to be seen which of the two women will come out on top and become the bigger superstar in WWE.
