IMPACT Wrestling Announces Knockouts Title Match Featuring TJPW Star Miyu Yamashita For Multiverse United Show
Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce a Knockouts Title Match for Multiverse United Show.
IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James will defend her Knockouts World title in a 4 way match (if she can retain it) against fellow IMPACT Knockouts Deonna Purrazzo and Gisele Shaw, and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling star Miyu Yamashita.
Mickie James has to defend her IMPACT Knockouts Title against Jordynne Grace a week prior to this at a LIVE Sacrifice event, so there’s a very real possibility Grace could be the one replacing her in this match. Grace has a contractual rematch so she’s using it here.
Gisele Shaw lost her IMPACT Knockouts title match this past week when Deonna Purrazzo got involved from ringside to help Mickie retain her title.
Deonna Purrazzo is a former 2x IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion, a former IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion, as well as a former Ring of Honor Women’s champion, and a former AAA Reina de Reinas champion. Purrazzo is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world, and should work well with these other 3 opponents in this match.
Miyu Yamashita is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to Tokyo Joshi-Pro Wrestling, and is only 27 years old. Miya was ranked #12 of the PWI Top 15 Females in 2022, and #31 of PWI Top 15 Females in 2021. Cagematch.net has her overall career rank so far (since 2018) as a 9.27 out of 10 (134 matches).
