Last month, AEW announced their new event, AEW House Rules, which they claim will provide an even more engaging experience for fans. This week, it was confirmed that Jon Moxley will also be participating in AEW House Rules.

As previously reported, Jon Moxley was scheduled to compete against Trent Seven at Scrappermania 7, which was going to take place in Ireland for Over The Top on March 17.

However, Moxley was pulled from the event and will be replaced by Eddie Kingston and PAC. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that Jon Moxley was not happy to be pulled from that event.

“They very much wanted all of the big stars there. The biggest stars that you could get who would do it. There was obviously the problem where Jon Moxley was double-booked and they made him do the house show, which he was not happy about. So they want to sell tickets for these house shows, and they want to have something resembling a house show business. This is the first one and I guess we’ll see how it does.”

It has been confirmed that Moxley will team with ROH World Champion and fellow Blackpool Combat Club member Claudio Castagnoli to square off against Lee Moriarty and Big Bill on March 18th. We’ll have to see how the match will turn out.
