Since the announcement of ‘Pandemonium’ in 2017, the biopic based on the life of Vince McMahon has been highly anticipated. The film’s title, ‘Pandemonium,’ is a nod to McMahon’s vision for his company as he revolutionized the world of professional wrestling.
Initially, it was reported that Bradley Cooper was set to play the role of McMahon. However, as time passed, the project encountered several setbacks and delays. Updates on the film’s production have been scarce in recent years, and it is unclear whether Cooper is still attached to the project.
While speaking during a recent interview with /Film, the project’s directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra talked about the future of the biopic. They revealed that the biopic is officially cancelled.
“Pandemonium is dead, sadly”.
“Vince killed it. So, yeah, we are on a very long list of people who got f***ed over by Vince.”

It’s not clear exactly what led to McMahon’s decision to cancel the project, but it’s clear that the directors felt strongly that his involvement was a major factor.
For fans of the WWE and of Vince McMahon himself, the cancellation of ‘Pandemonium’ is undoubtedly a disappointment. The biopic had the potential to shed new light on the WWE’s early days and on the man who built the company into the powerhouse it is today. Unfortunately, it seems that the film will never see the light of day, at least not in the form that Requa and Ficarra had envisioned.
