While watching a replay of WrestleMania 35, ex WWE writer Dave Schilling live tweeted his watch along. During that time, he shared a list of banned terms that Vince McMahon didn’t want being used on television.
Dave Schilling tweeted out to reveal a list of WWE’s banned words. It turns out that calling Becky Lynch “Becky Two-Belts” was a big no-no. This list also revealed other words that Vince McMahon wanted nixed from his shows.
We will have to see how WWE’s new owners take control of the banned word list. Obviously, if Saudi Arabia buys WWE, then they will likely drastically alter the things that are allowed on programming.
