The Deadman was a fixture of WWE television for over thirty years, and he continued to be a highlight of WWE television since the early 90s. He finally retired at Survivor Series 2020 and even got inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame last year.
While speaking on Audacy’s The Bet 98.5 (Las Vegas), The Undertaker was asked about his life after retirement and saying goodbye to pro wrestling for good. He expressed that it has been challenging for him to let go of his iconic character, as it held significant importance in his life and career. Being unable to perform again has been especially difficult for him, as his passion lies in being in the ring and entertaining audiences.
“It’s been difficult. That character was such an important part of my life and career. Just being not able to perform again — that’s my passion. In my mind and heart, there’s nothing I’d rather do [than] be in the ring and performing. That’s who I am and what I have done for 30+ years…I had a great run. My time is done, and it is time to do something different.”

The Undertaker also made it clear that he will never wear his iconic attire ever again. Regardless, The Phenom has a lot of things to keep himself busy and that is all that matters to him.
