Austin Theory Denies John Cena Buried Him In RAW Promo
A couple of weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, John Cena made a highly-anticipated comeback and was visibly emotional upon hearing the cheers from the live crowd. He got into a heated promo with Austin Theory and eventually agreed to face him in a blockbuster match at WrestleMania 39.
It was largely a one-sided obliteration, as John Cena verbally decimated Austin Theory in the promo and ended up setting up their match at the Show of Shows. Needless to say, fans loved every bit of it.
That being said, there were also quite a few people who believed that John Cena essentially buried Theory with that promo. While speaking on the After The Bell with Corey Graves podcast, Theory shot down the idea that John Cena buried him with the promo.
And it’s kind of funny, that scenario kind of relates to what just happened with John Cena, you know, everybody online is like, you’re buried, you’re done, you’re finished. I’m like, You guys are idiots, you really are. I mean, yes, John Cena needs to say everything he can, because he’s gonna go back to Hollywood until WrestleMania and go put his skirt and heels on. So, you know, that’s why he has to say all those mean things, he’s got to say everything he can. And I’m sure he thought about that for a really long time. I mean, he did say he’s been watching me for a long time, didn’t he?”.

It remains to be seen how WWE will continue to build the feud between Cena and Theory leading up to WrestleMania 39. However, fans are eagerly anticipating Cena’s return to the Grandest Stage Of Them All and are excited to see what’s in store for him.
