Tony Khan Had Meeting To Repair AEW And AAA’s Strained Relationship
Tony Khan did everything in his power to repair AEW’s relationship with AAA.
While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Christopher Daniels, who serves as the head of talent relations for AEW, revealed that Tony Khan held a meeting in order to repair AEW and AAA’s strained relationship.
“Actually, I feel like it’s in a good position right now. Konnan and Tony Khan recently had a meeting and tried to suss all that out, and I feel like we’re in a good position. We’re in a good place right now, obviously, because I’m going to AAA to wrestle. So yeah, I feel like whatever miscommunications or misunderstandings, whatever that was, I feel like that’s in the past and we’re going to move forward and not dwell on that and try and be available. Each promotion is trying to be available for the other as its schedule permits.”

AEW recently announced that Kenny Omega will face the debuting AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite. This announcement led to many fans criticizing the lack of story around the match. Tony Khan refused to accept any form of criticism online and simply could not let go of it. Regardless, it is good to see that AEW and AAA’s relationship is better now.
