Trish Stratus made her long-awaited return to RAW last month to assist her former rival and friend Lita and “The Man” Becky Lynch against the stable of Damage CTRL. This led to the duo winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Dakota Kai and IYO Sky.
Furthermore, Trish Stratus is all set to return to in-ring action in two weeks. She recently discussed the motivation behind her return to the ring this year in an interview with Sports Illustrated.
“I’ll only come back if it’s fun. I’m taking time away from my businesses and my babies.”
“I love passing the torch and passing on my knowledge. Was I the greatest wrestler? I don’t know, but I knew how to make people take notice.”

During her six years as a full-time competitor, Stratus won the WWE Women’s Title seven times, making her one of the most accomplished female performers of her generation. She went on to state that the superstars of today calling her a role model is a prime reason for her wanting to do this once again.
