Bautista had his attention captured by a particular sequence that transpired during a match on the March 17 episode of SmackDown. The contest featured Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio teaming up to take on Zelina Vega and Santos Escobar.
As the match progressed, Vega executed a stunning Satellite DDT on Ripley, leaving the audience in awe and prompting WWE to share a clip of the maneuver on Instagram.
Upon seeing the clip, Bautista was quick to express his admiration for the move, further cementing its significance in the minds of wrestling enthusiasts worldwide. The fact that such a seasoned and accomplished wrestler as Bautista was impressed by Vega’s display of skill is a testament to her own abilities and a testament to the level of competition in the wrestling world today.
Batista’s final match was against Triple H at WrestleMania 35, where he would lose to The Game. The Animal was supposed to receive a WWE Hall of Fame induction back in 2021, but he pulled out of the ceremony thanks to pandemic issues. We’ll have to see when he will get his own induction.
