Ethan Page Goes Off On Hypocritical AEW Fans
Upon arriving in AEW, Ethan Page had solid feuds with the likes of Darby Allin and other top stars. He remains a consistent part of the mid-card scene in AEW and is currently engaged in a storyline with Matt Hardy.
Matt Hardy recently addressed a hot topic among wrestling fans, which was AEW President Tony Khan’s booking decisions. Hardy also defended Tony Khan against fans who criticized Khan’s booking.
While speaking during an episode of Matt Hardy’s podcast, Ethan Page decided to call out the hypocrisy of fans. Page stated that despite regularly appearing on AEW television for the past two years, he still receives tweets from people asking “Who?” when referring to him. Therefore, Page believes that no matter how many vignettes are created for El Hijo Del Vikingo prior to his match, there will still be viewers who question his presence and make negative comments.
Also, I’m going to bury myself real quick to kind of help with this argument. I have been on AEW television steady, I would say regularly, for about two years straight. I still get people tweeting at me, ‘Who?’ So I don’t care how many vignettes you do of this guy (Vikingo) before he has this match, there’s still going to be people who are like, ‘Who the F is this? Why is he on the show? They just want to be those people who make those comments.”

We will have to wait and see what other opportunities ‘All Ego’ will get in the coming weeks. For the time being, Page is just happy being part of the AEW family.
