Alexa Bliss Says She Appeared On “The Masked Singer” To Confront Her Fear Of Singing In Front Of People
Little Miss Bliss was a participant on The Masked Singer last week. Wrestling fans were taken aback when it was revealed that Bliss had been performing under the guise of the Axolotl.
While speaking on Behind the Velvet Rope, Alexa Bliss admitted that she had felt some apprehension going into it. Bliss confessed that one of the main reasons she wanted to participate in “The Masked Singer” was to confront her deep-seated fear of singing in front of people. Alexa Bliss revealed that the appearance helped with her anxiety in a big way.
“I originally wanted to do ‘The Masked Singer’ one, because I thought it would be a fun opportunity. Two, because I have a terrible fear of singing in front of people,. Now, I’ve gone to karaoke places and had too much tequila and I’ve rapped Eminem songs, but that’s completely different. That’s not like singing in front of people and having to look at people while they’re watching you sing. So for me, it was to get over my anxiety and get over my fear and prove to myself that I can do it.”
