Since Charlotte Flair’s return to the WWE, she has maintained her position at the very top of the women’s division. All this went down despite major changes behind the scenes during her absence.
Due to Charlotte Flair receiving a bit of protection during her feuds in WWE, fans started to speculate that Charlotte Flair may hold some power behind the scenes in the company. However, that does not seem to be the case.
While speaking with WrestleRant, Charlotte Flair addressed speculation and rumors about her having political power in WWE. Flair used an example of her feud with Nikki Cross, who cashed in her Money in the Bank contract. This ended up ending her feud with Rhea Ripley prematurely.
I had no control of that,” Flair explained, with interviewer Graham Matthews chiming in to note how widely believed it is that she wields that kind of power. “I’m saying it now, that’s not — I don’t have control … I am so flattered that people think I have that much power. I’m very flattered. But trust me: I don’t.”

Charlotte Flair is currently preparing for her next major encounter at WrestleMania 39, where she will defend her title against Rhea Ripley. The match has the potential to be the main event of night one, which would be a significant achievement for the women’s division.
