Top Dolla’s Leg Is Still Recovering From SmackDown Dive Botch
Top Dolla was involved in a high-stakes triple threat tag team match on the December 16th edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The winners would receive a shot at The Usos for the Undisputed WWE tag team titles. Things were looking good for Top Dolla, until that changed.
During the match, Top Dolla’s dive didn’t go as planned, and he wound up getting tangled in the rope, flipping over the top. He banged his head on the apron, and landed on his feet outside. Although he tried to shake it off, the botch was noticed by fans.
While it has been a long time since that night, it looks like Top Dolla is still feeling the effects of that botched dive. During an interview with Kay Adams on Up & Adams, he revealed that his leg was still recovering and spoke about his botched spot on SmackDown.
“I went to do a dive one time and my leg was like, ‘You ain’t got that big fella.’ I got caught on the top rope. It happens, it’s live TV, but you have to keep going with it. I’m still recovering, my leg is still recovering from that, and that was months ago. You still have to push through.”

Hit Row members Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis defeated Legado del Fantasma and the Viking Raiders in the triple threat tag team match that night. They went on to face The Usos for the tag titles the next week, but would eventually come up short in their quest to become champions.
