The youngest main event in WrestleMania weekend history took place at NXT Stand and Deliver as Bron Breakker defended the NXT title against Carmelo Hayes.
The crowd were behind Hayes from the moment he made his entrance, with Breakker facing a cold reception from the LA crowd.
While Bron would dominate the early stages of the match, Hayes came into the match as it went on. The referee was knocked down during the match, allowing Trick Williams to hit Bron with the NXT title from behind, however Bron kicked out at the final moment.
Carmelo Hayes would not be denied however, hitting his finisher for the win and becoming the brand new NXT champion.
After the match, Bron would present the title to Carmelo Hayes as the crowd chanted his name.
