John Cena and Austin Theory began WrestleMania Saturday with a US title match.
Both stars had unique entrances, with a part of the stage opening up for Theory’s entrance while Cena had several kids from the Make A Wish foundation on stage with him.
Cena appeared leaner than usual right out of the gate, with Theory quickly resorting to underhanded tactics. Eventually, Cena would attempt the AA on Theory, with the referee being knocked down. Cena would lock in the STF, with the champion tapping quickly, but the referee didn’t see it. Theory would then low blow the 16 time world champion, with Theory then hitting A Town Down for the win.
