Big E Admits He Didn’t Feel He Had A Strong WWE Title Reign

Big E had to overcome a lot of obstacles over the years throughout his time in WWE. He reached the top of the mountain by becoming the WWE Champion, but it didn’t last long. It’s been a long time since he was injured and despite that, Big E remains in high spirits. However, it seems Big E felt good WWE Title run we lacking.

Big E remains one of the most beloved WWE Superstars for good reason. He reached the top of the mountain on the September 13, 2021 episode of Monday Night RAW after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Bobby Lashley.

Big E held the WWE Championship for 110 days before losing it to Brock Lesnar at the Day 1 premium live event in a Fatal Five-way match. Many fans felt his WWE Title run had a lot of potential that was never realized. While speaking with PopCulture, Big E talked about his WWE Title run. Big E admitted that his run was lacking and that a lot more could have been done with it. Regardless, he remains grateful for the opportunities given to him.

It was a great learning experience for me. It was one of those things where you know, if I’m being honest, I wanted more. I didn’t feel like I had the best reign. I feel like there was a lot of meat left on the bone, a lot more that we could have done there so yeah, for me, I was really fortunate and really blessed to have that opportunity and really grateful for it as well. I felt like I was proud of myself in that, the demands with that title are real.

Big E still hasn’t received his one-year checkup after his neck injury. Regardless, fans will always be disappointed that WWE didn’t do much with Big E as the WWE Champion.
